Chocolate-Hazelnut Mascarpone with Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

  • 125 ml (½ cup) mascarpone cheese
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) plain Greek yogurt
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) chocolate-hazelnut Crémette from Wabasso Distillery
  • A pinch of fleur de sel
  • 5 to 6 Verifruit chocolate-covered strawberries
  • 2 to 3 fresh strawberries, sliced

  1. Remove the Verifruit chocolate-covered strawberries from the freezer about 5 minutes before serving to allow them to thaw slightly.
  2. In a blender, combine the mascarpone, Greek yogurt, and chocolate-hazelnut Crémette. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Using a spatula, spread the mixture on the bottom of a serving plate. Top with the chocolate-covered strawberries, followed by the sliced fresh strawberries.
  4. Finish with a pinch of fleur de sel and serve immediately.
